Is CanadaPostRefunds available to download right now?
Public downloads are temporarily closed while the Windows and Linux application is in private Beta. Canadian businesses can join the verified Early Access list at no charge.
Does it cost anything to join Early Access?
No. Joining the CanadaPostRefunds Early Access list is free, requires no credit card and does not create a subscription.
What is the planned PRO price?
The planned PRO price is $19.95 CAD per month for one user account, plus applicable Canadian sales taxes based on the billing province when paid public access opens.
What is planned for the FREE Edition?
The planned FREE Edition is $0 CAD, requires no CanadaPostRefunds account and is intended to allow up to 25 shipment analyses per month.
Is CanadaPostRefunds affiliated with Canada Post?
No. CanadaPostRefunds is an independent software product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Canada Post.
Does every late package qualify for a refund?
No. Eligibility depends on the shipment, service and Canada Post’s current terms. The software identifies potential opportunities; Canada Post makes the final determination.
Does PRO take a percentage of refunds?
No. The planned PRO model uses a stated monthly subscription instead of a percentage-of-refund fee.
How will Canadian sales taxes work for PRO?
The completed checkout system calculates GST/HST/QST from the validated Canadian billing province and postal code. CanadaPostRefunds charges GST only in British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan and does not collect PST/RST in those provinces.
Why are you using a waitlist during Beta?
Controlled access allows additional testing before public release and gives potential customers a way to provide feedback without downloading unfinished software or starting a paid subscription.
